Childrens home manager

Registered Childrens Home Manager, Kettering Area of Northampton GBP60-GBP70K per annum, DOE Employer This home is a 3 bedded home with Social Emotional Mental Health needs. You would be working for a small Children rsquo;s Residential Home Provider who own 3 small homes. With a Social Care background, the owners wanted to make a difference to Children Young People and have a positive impact on their future. Following a therapeutic care model, they work with an outside organisation which includes a team of Clinical Educational Psychologists to deliver a model based on the PACE method. Following a Therapeutic Model is very important to them as an organisation and means the Children they support are supported through their journey with them. They are keen to ensure all their team feel valued, reassured and that we are an organisation that does put the children first over profit. Duties You will be supported by our Responsible Individual, Deputy Manager, Senior RSW rsquo;s and Support Workers. The staffing ration is 1:1 with all the staff team able to train to Level 3 or Level 5 in Children Young People. With responsibility for Managing the Home we are looking for a strong determined manager who can lead the team and instil pride in the home, as well as been really committed to the Therapeutic Model we all follow. Criteria * Previous experience of Supervising or Managing in a Childrens Residential Setting. * Minimum of Level 3 Childrens Residential willing to work towards Level 5. * Excellent understanding of Ofsted regulations. * Open to a Deputy Manager looking to manage their first Home. * Candidates will be looking to work for a caring, supportive employer.
