Barker Ross are currently recruiting for a Bakery Mixer Operative to work in an international food manufacturing company based in the Wigston (LE18) area. Our client has been developing bakery solutions for food service providers, retailers, and bakers for over 30 years. They operate in 20 countries around the world. They adapt their recipes and services to local traditions, eating habits and sales channels. Bakery mixing experience is essential for this role. This position pays GBP14.07 per hour. Working hours: Working a 4 on 4 off weekly rotating shift pattern of 12 hours from 06:00 - 18:00, 18:00 - 06:00 Job Duties: middot; Using raw materials as per specification middot; Operating mixing machinery as per provided training. middot; Maintain a clean, safe environment. middot; Ability to follow proper health code guidelines and Good Manufacturing Practices middot; A safety-first mindset which includes wearing proper personal protective equipment (PPE) and working safely on or around production equipment middot; The ability to multi-task, perform repeated bending, standing, and reaching, and occasionally lifting to 20 kg. middot; Learn and operate various pieces of equipment in a safe proper manner. middot; Excitement about working in a team. middot; Detail-oriented to complete daily tasks, notice food quality issues, and properly follow procedures.
