Senior estimator

Job Title: Senior Estimator Location: Central London Package: GBP85,000 - GBP95,000 plus car allowance and bonus Skilled Careers are working with a High-End Residential Main Contractor who due to an incredible amount of work winning they are looking for a Senior Estimator to join the team. The Senior Estimator would be working on either a High-End Residential New Build, Refurbishment or Fit-Out Project valued from GBP5m up to GBP50m+ in Central London. Duties Work on High-End Residential New Build, Refurbishments Fit-Out Projects in the heart of London. Leading on relevant tenders, process and resources with a high degree of commercial acumen and skill Identify opportunities to add value and to mitigate against risks / consider solutions throughout the project process Ensure monitoring of the tender process is in place for all tenders and report on progress via estimating plan Lead the pricing process and promote integration of disciplines through accurate reporting and regular internal communication and feedback on relevant tenders To lead the supply chain enquiry process Proactively maintain the cost base by assisting with latest quotations, framework rates ndash; controlling costs, timing and quality in line with specified targets To produce a detailed control document to handover to the delivery team Working collaboratively and communicating effectively with other areas of the Construction business to provide exceptional support To work to the Company rsquo;s Quality, Environmental and Safety Management System standards and performance criteria including delivering the objectives set To co-operate on matters of health and safety and follow the training provided. To take reasonable care of personal and other rsquo;s health and safety at all times Any other duties consistent with the role of Estimator as may be required from time to time. Requirements An Estimator/ Senior Estimator who has experience working for a UK High-End Residential Main Contractor. High-End Residential New Build experience. Someone has the ambitions to progress.
