We are looking for a pro-active and personable individual to support in KS3 and KS4 classes who cater for pupils with SEN and SEMH needs. The school rsquo;s focus is providing a nurturing environment that enables the pupils to engage successfully in all aspects of learning. Role of an SEN Teaching Assistant: Supporting the class Teacher (4-8 pupils per class) Supporting with outdoor day trips and activity days Embrace all aspects of the school rsquo;s visions and core values Working with pupils with ASC, complex needs, challenging behaviours Full-time 8:30am to 3:30pm 1:1 and small group work ensuring pupils stay on track with the curriculum The ideal candidate will: Have lots of patience, be proactive and resilient! - this role can be challenging, but it is very rewarding! Experience working within a SEN/SEMH school (not essential) A strong ability to develop relationships and rapport with pupils Excellent communication and interpersonal skills If you have suitable experience or feel the experiences you have can be adapted into a SEN school, please apply now!
