Senior quantity surveyor

V7 Recruitment are working with a reputable main contractor who are looking for an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join them on a flagship project in Manchester! This will involve working on a highly sought after project as part of a supportive commercial team. In return they are offering: * Competitive salary * Car allowance/ Company Car * 26 days holiday + bank holidays * Pension Scheme * Life assurance Ideal candidate: * Main contractor background * Experience on large scale new build projects * Ambitious and motivated work attitude * Strong management skills Duties will include: * Client management . * Weekly and monthly reporting to the Commercial Manager. * Mentoring the commercial team. * Agreeing main contract sums. * Managing variations and claims. * Managing the cash flow. * Procuring materials and subcontractors. * Attending project progress meetings with clients and Project Managers * Managing subcontractor payments, variations and producing cost reports. * Preparation of final accounts. * Managing claims/ disputes.
