Secondary School Admin Assistant/ SIMS Operator Needed in Rugby, Warwickshire. Start date: April 2024 - Ongoing (with permanent opportunity) An admin position has arisen at a large and reputable secondary school in Rugby. The role will be full time/ 5 days per week. To be successful for this role you need to be capable of ensuring proper flow of office procedures and support the school contacting and leasing with parents/ carers. You MUST have 6 months experience working within a UK school or college and be proficient (or at least have experience) with SIMS computer software. You must be able to maintain a positive and friendly school image at all times and be confident in your ability to work as part of a large team. The school are looking into taking on a preanant member of staff in the Admin Team from Sepetember 2024, so there is a real opportunity for the successfull applicant to be offered this role at the end of the academic year. The duties for the successful applicant will include: Being responsible for providing a comprehensive and highly efficient admin service. Dealing with enquires from parents, students both in person and on the telephone. Interacting with Senior Leadership and actioning requests Handling a variety of tasks quickly, efficiently and calmly Organising and facilitating a variety of educational or social activities Completing work to deadlines and displaying excellent organisational, administrative and IT skills.
