Finance manager

In this role, you #39;ll have full authority over finances, closely collaborate with the director, and drive meaningful change. This opportunity presents the chance to step into the role of Head of Finance at a wholesale distributor that prioritises service excellence and product quality. You will have complete oversight of the company #39;s accounting operations, with one direct report under your supervision. Reporting directly to the Managing Director, this senior position offers considerable autonomy, enabling you to shape and lead the department in alignment with your strategic vision. Oversee the accounting function, including managing, and developing the finance team for optimal performance. Lead monthly and quarterly analysis of financial data, presenting insights to the board and management team. Oversee the preparation and timely presentation of the company #39;s financial accounts. Develop and manage the company #39;s annual operating budget, in coordination with departmental budgets. Provide financial advice and guidance to Directors and managers to support their objectives. Manage year-end processes and liaise with external accountants. Manage finance policies, ensuring compliance with legal obligations. Maintain robust financial systems to support current operations and future growth. Collaborate with the management team to formulate growth strategies and plans. Suitable Candidate for the Finance Manager vacancy: ACA/CIMA/ACC qualified or equivalent relevant experience. Strong technical accounting. Cash management and budgeting.
