An outstanding job opportunity has arisen for a committed Registered Nurse in Hitchin, Hertfordshire Full time position, pay rate GBP15.65 - GBP17.73 per hour. Specialism Acquired brain injury and a range of other neurological conditions such as Huntington rsquo;s disease, Parkinson rsquo;s, and multiple sclerosis. Purpose Responsible for the assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of high standards of personalised nursing care for service users. Leads the care team in providing the best possible quality care and support to service users and their carers/family. Qualifications required bull; NMC Registered Nurse bull; Completion of NMC Standards for Student Supervision and/or Assessment or willingness to complete training bull; Evidence of continued professional development Experience, Skills and Ability bull; Effective verbal and written communication bull; Knowledge of current legislation within the independent care sector bull; Experience in neurological or palliative care is desirable bull; Able to work both within a team and independently bull; Able to implement and monitor clinical standards bull; Able to actively support and participate in change bull; Able to resolve problems and identify and implement solutions bull; Good interpersonal skills bull; Demonstrable skills in leadership and supervision bull; Competent IT Skills Key Responsibilities bull; Responsible for providing support, leadership, recognition, and supervision to other team members as appropriate bull; Demonstrating own activities to new or less experienced colleagues and carrying out day-to-day supervision of work of others bull; Supporting education, training, demonstration and guidance to carers, colleagues, and students as appropriate bull; Assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating individualised clinical care of service users using evidence-based guidelines and giving specialist advice to service users bull; Using evidence-based practice to develop and maintain high-quality service users rsquo; care and to ensure the continuous improvement of the client nursing service. Following policies and contributing ideas on proposals for change bull; Ensuring the care team provide all care in line with the evidence-based care plan.
