Area sales manager field based

Job Title: Area Sales Manager Salary: Up to GBP45,000 per annum dependant on skills and experience + OTE Bonus scheme of up to 20% dependent on targets being hit Location: Covering South West and South Wales areas of the country Job Type: Full Time, Permanent The Role: A Full-Time business to business External Sales Representative covering the South West of England and South of Wales is required to work in a busy, dynamic, expanding family run business with a turnover at present of over GBP7 million and looking for growth. Car, Phone, Laptop will all be provided to give you the support you need to deliver results. You will also have access to an office based team in achieving your goal of selling to the end user. Job Responsibilities: Develop both the customer and product mix across the region in line with the business plan Manage the territory area, business mix, diary and arrange own visits Develop the sales and pipeline of projects in the territory Visiting existing accounts and key customers to increase sales Build relationships in the area by visiting new and potential customers to increase sales across the full product range Conduct and attend site surveys and measure up visits to secure any further works planned Maintain the sales margin at the levels required Manage any customer concerns and resolve issues effectively, mitigating any customer dissatisfactionThe Candidate: Personal Attributes: Must be accomplished at both opening doors as well as managing and growing an existing client base Capable of working both as an individual or in a team A strong desire / track record of meeting targets and objectives Flexible, Enthusiastic, Enterprising and Pro-active Quality focused Honest, reliable, trustworthy Ability to be professional, cheerful, co-operative at all times Ability to be motivated and customer focused Drive and commitment to learn, be ambitious and ready to succeed Be well motivated and proactive Can do attitude Team workSkills Competencies: Education/Qualifications: Full Valid driving licence Use of CRM database T literate (including use of Outlook Office)Relevant Experience: Sales in a construction-based industry Arranging / visits with new existing clients Developing business in in line with strategy Leading effective meetingsKnowledge Skills: Good product knowledge Building construction environment knowledge Organisational skills (time management) Managing and resolving difficult situations Effective decision-making skillsBenefits: Competitive holiday entitlement + bank holidays + 1 day for every 5 years completed service.
