Academics is currently seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Primary Teaching Assistants to join our team on a long-term supply basis in Alton, Hampshire. This is an exciting opportunity to work within vibrant primary school settings, supporting teachers and students to achieve their full potential. Key Responsibilities: Provide support to the classroom teacher in delivering engaging and effective lessons. Assist with the implementation of individual education plans (IEPs) for students with special educational needs (SEN). Work with small groups or individual students to provide targeted support in areas such as literacy, numeracy, and social development. Help create a positive and inclusive learning environment where all students feel valued and supported. Assist with the preparation and organization of classroom materials and resources. Supervise students during break times and off-site activities as required.Requirements: Previous experience working in a primary school setting is desirable but not essential. A passion for education and a genuine desire to make a difference in the lives of young learners. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, teachers, and parents. Flexibility and adaptability to work in different school environments and with students of varying abilities.
