The role of Assistant Chef will include: : Assisting with the planning and creation of nutritionally balanced meals for our employees : Promoting and monitoring food hygiene and safety standards : Carrying out risk assessments and cleaning the kitchen to a high standard : Assisting with the supervision and development of staff : Maintain kitchen stock, equipment, and resources within budget : Follow procedures in relation to cash handling and till operations ensuring compliance with the Group s policy Skills and experiences: : Previous experience of working in a catering environment : A valid food hygiene certificate is essential : NVQ2 in Hospitality and Catering : Proven knowledge of health and safety procedures : Excellent cooking skills with an understanding of produce and ingredients and use of catering machinery : Good interpersonal and customer care skills : Some knowledge of dietary requirements and the impact of food types on medication Are you ready to be your best?
