Job description Job Title: Estates Operational Manager Trust: Mid Yorkshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust Location: Dewsbury and District Hospital, Halifax Rd, Wakefield, WF13 4HS Shift Pattern: Monday - Friday 37.5hrs per week 08:00-16:00 Pay: GBP23.52 per hour Do you have experience managing the day-to-day Hard FM/Technical Services? Your duties will include but are not limited to: middot; Act as an authorised signatory for Estates Official Trust Orders to agreed levels middot; Manage the Trust #39;s Decontamination Service Team. middot; Ensure the Estates Department meets and complies with relevant Healthcare Standards middot; Design and deliver bespoke sustainability projects across the trust. middot; Ensure the Estates Department provides up to date information and input into the trust #39;s performance management framework. middot; Lead and manage a team of Estates Professionals. middot; Liaise with Trust Managers to ensure a consistent approach to policies and procedures across the trust. middot; Managing all estates contractors on-site and ensuring their compliance with trust policies and procedures. middot; Develop, implement, and maintain a continuous improvement programme. middot; In conjunction with the directorate budget holder, formulate the annual budget for Estates services. middot; Consult with Trade Union Representatives and Safety Representatives as appropriate. middot; Work in accordance with Health and Safety regulations at all times. Skills required: middot; Accredited Degree in Electrical, Mechanical or Building Service Engineering or equivalent knowledge/experience to that level middot; Good knowledge of Health and Safety middot; Good knowledge of statutory and mandatory tasks required for infrastructure systems. middot; Good knowledge of UK healthcare policies, practices, delivery models, information systems and service standards. middot; Excellent IT skills middot; Capacity to prioritise workload and ability to work independently with constantly changing demands and requirements middot; Experience of working in a reactive pressurised environment. middot; Must be able to drive.
