Business development engineer

An exciting opportunity is available to work for a leading manufacture in Medway. Job Title: Business Development Engineer Location: Hoo ndash; must have own transport Hours: Monday to Thursday 7:30am ndash; 4pm Friday 7:30am to 12:30pm. Business Development Engineer Desirable requirements: * Excellent communication and negotiation skills in both a one to one and group environment * Educated to min of A Level or BTEC/HNC etc, either an engineering discipline or an aptitude for technical learning (physics) * Ability to interact with people at all levels ndash; written and face to face * Computer literate with good knowledge of Microsoft applications Business Development Engineer Responsibilities: * Developing a strong understanding of company products, competitors and positioning. * Identifying needs and building strategic relationships with new customers. * Seek out new customers by following up leads with visits to demonstrate the product portfolio offered by the company. * Working closely with the technical services team to develop new product solution packages * Preparing client presentations. * Runing product training, product demonstrations and classroom presentations. * Assisting the UK Sales team, taking newly generated tender opportunities from RFI through POQ to full tender award. * Collaborating with the product design and sales teams to ensure that requirements are met. * Submit monthly sales report and data analysis to update market and customer information
