The below job description will outline this position of: Mechanical Fitter Typically, this person will be responsible for the assembly of new marine craft. HSB Technical rsquo;s client is a very established and well-regarded business entity. Duties and responsibilities of the Mechanical Fitter: bull; Mechanical Fitting covering maintenance/assembly work on bearings, gear boxes, generators, pumps and other mechanical equipment. bull; Can work alone and/or amongst a team. bull; Work will be completed on vessels varying in size (7.5m- 19.5m). bull; Knowledge of how to work through engineering problems with a design team. bull; Willing to work overtime as requested by the company. Qualifications and requirement for the Mechanical Fitter: bull; Marine industry experience bull; Able to work from technical drawings bull; An experienced fitter or an apprentice trained/NVQ level 3 Mechanical qualification bull; Knowledge of marine engines and propulsion systems This vacancy is being advertised by HSB Technical who have been appointed to act as the recruitment consultancy for this role
