Maintenance engineer

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Maintenance Engineer to join a global automotive manufacturer working a three shift pattern of mornings, afternoons and nights (6am ndash; 2pm/2pm -10pm/10pm ndash; 6am). Candidates should be Electrically biased and ideally apprentice trained with relevant qualifications, 17th/18th Edition wiring regulations, together with sound knowledge of PLC rsquo;s (Ideally Siemens S7). Working as part of a highly skilled maintenance team that covers all aspects of Plant maintenance, the Maintenance Engineer will be required to provide effective maintenance support within high volume manufacturing arena where continuous production is paramount. Ideally, candidates should have experience with injection mould machines and robots and be able to read and interpret electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems. The Maintenance Engineer will be responsible for: *Ensuring that all machinery is kept in a functional and in a safe condition *Providing a rapid response to breakdowns and repair accordingly *Work with maintenance team to plan and carry out PPM on all plant equipment to achieve optimum plant equipment availability. *Ensure planned preventive maintenance of all machinery is carried out. *Contribute to TPM process *Support new installations required to improve performance.
