Commercial catering engineer

Main duties and responsibilities #xF0B7; Plan work activity to ensure that as many customer visits as possible are made at suitable agreed times. #xF0B7; Communicate effectively and politely with customers rsquo; and employer rsquo;s staff. #xF0B7; Complete necessary documentation clearly and legibly. #xF0B7; Continually develop a sound knowledge and understanding of the principles of operation of most types of commercial catering equipment and how to rectify faults. #xF0B7; Maintain and continually develop a sound knowledge of sources of technical information and help for most catering equipment manufacturers rsquo; products. #xF0B7; Keep up to date with applicable regulations and standards. #xF0B7; Maintain and continually develop a sound knowledge and understanding of fault finding procedures. #xF0B7; Maintain catering equipment in accordance with manufacturers rsquo; instructions. #xF0B7; Install equipment in accordance with manufacturers rsquo; instructions. #xF0B7; Work safely by assessing risks and taking all necessary actions to minimize them. #xF0B7; Maintain necessary accreditations to work safely with most types of gas fired catering equipment and registration with Gas Safe Register. (Insert as required but normally CCCN1 and Comcats 1,2,3 #xF0B7; Ensure all tools and test equipment are maintained in good working order and where necessary are correctly calibrated. #xF0B7; Attend training courses as and when directed. #xF0B7; Maintain van stock and take responsibility for return of parts. #xF0B7; Maintain company vehicle in clean and roadworthy condition ndash; Refer to Employee Handbook in office. #xF0B7; Any other reasonable tasks as requested from time to time #xF0B7; All purchases must have been authorized by Service Manager along with a valid order number. Qualifications #xF0B7;Proof of electrical competency #xF0B7; ACS accreditations including CCCN1 or CODC1, Comcats 1,2,3 #xF0B7; Clean driving license for private/light goods
