Mobile field engineer

A fantastic opportunity for a hard-working, driven, and enthusiastic engineer to carry out general engineering installations (including heating, environmental monitoring, general temporary fume, and ventilation installations, water-treatment), primarily in Scotland and north of England. Typically, installations take no longer than a day and are for hire equipment of a temporary nature. You will assist with equipment breakdowns as needed, carry out technical surveys on customers #39; sites, with workshop/warehouse activities as necessary. A company van will be provided for business use. Some installs may require an overnight stay. Applications from suitably qualified ex-military personnel (Royal Air Force, Royal Navy, British Army, Royal Marines) will be particularly relevant for this position but other qualified candidates are encouraged to apply. Key Responsibilities: Carry out on-site technical engineering installations on all Company equipment types Liaise with and instruct site agents on the use of equipment. Carry out equipment breakdowns as and when required. Maintain a high level of site health and safety awareness Assist in the maintenance and repair of equipment in the #39;ready for hire #39; process Assist in carrying out general warehouse duties in Scotland depot (if required) Carry out deliveries/collections of Company equipment. Assist with carrying out site surveys for sales and operations.
