Transport Administrator Choose a career with the UK’s biggest independent drainage specialist. The Lanes Group needs an experienced Transport Administrator to join our team at Manchester The job: You’ll be working as part of a team to support the transport division in the running of a varied fleet, updating in house systems system such as Tachomaster and Samsara, raising purchase orders via our in-house systems, processing defects, planning maintenance of vehicles, generating fuel reports, Driving Licence Checking for staff, checking vehicles have current MOT and VED and liaising with insurers in the processing of claims etc. About you: You will be a team player, being able to work on your own initiative, organised and flexible to ensure targets are achieved. Excellent IT skills (Excel, Word) are essential, with the ability to learn new in-house IT systems. Experience of working in a previous transport role would be an advantage, although training will be given for right candidate.
