Electrical Assembly Technician Up to GBP17.26ph SK10 40 hours per week - Monday to Friday Electrical Assembly / Technician / Electrical Assembly Technician / Assembly / Electric The Recruitment Group is proud to be working with a fantastic company based in Stockport. They are looking for an Electrical Assembly technician to join their team and wire, build and test machinery for the food industry. You will be part of the electrical department and will report to their electrical manager. Main duties and responsibilities of an Electrical Assembly Technician: . Wire panel back-plates, doors etc. from circuit diagrams and panel layouts provided. . Ensure electrical build quality is of the highest possible standard. . Electro/mechanical installation of control cubicle components and field components. . Terminate and secure external cabling to the correct points in the control panel. . Install PLC HMI programs. . Carry out earth continuity, insulation, and pre-delivery testing. . Where necessary, perform remote support and on-site support to breakdown situations. . Where necessary, perform on-site machine commissioning. . Where necessary, conduct operator and technical training at clients #39; sites. . Perform on-call and service duties as per service rota. . Must seek to keep the workshop clean and tidy at the end of each working day. . The jobholder should be aware that on occasion, working outside of normal hours will be required, both within the UK and overseas. . Someone who has experience within an engineering organisation. . Able to read and understand engineering drawings. . Wiring diagram . BOM #39;s Experience/knowledge requirements for an Electrical Assembly Technician: . Time served electrician, with experience of industrial control system wiring and fault finding. . 18th Edition certified. . Experience of working with PLCs, servo drive systems and AC inverters. .
