Folder and guillotine operators

Folder and Guillotine Operators Job Type: Full time/Permanent Salary: Dependant on experience One of the UK rsquo;s leading printers has the opportunity for experienced finishing professionals to join their manufacturing team as either Folder or Guillotine Operators. If you rsquo;re seeking a competitive salary and long-term secure position, this could be the perfect opportunity for you! * On-site parking * Average 42 hours per week * 12 hours shifts ndash; 07.00am-19.00pm OR 19.00pm-07.00am * Working 4 shifts on and 4 shifts off - shifts alternate between 4 days and 4 nights * Plenty of Overtime available The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the running of Folders or Guillotines in a fast-paced printing finishing environment. Duties include: * Set up machinery to produce jobs in line with job bag instructions. * Allocate tasks to crew members (if applicable) * The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years experience of using guillotines or folding machinery in a comparable environment. * Keep the work area tidy and machinery in good order to ensure all work is correctly labeled and quarantine procedures are followed. * Ensure that jobs are completed in a timely manner and are inline with despatch instructions * Ensure Company Health, safety and environmental procedures are followed.
