Accounts assistant

We are currently recruiting on behalf on our prestigious client based in Dunstable an experienced Account Assistant. What you rsquo;ll be doing * Raising sales invoices and credit notes in line with purchase orders and authority limits * Coding and processing purchase ledger invoices and obtaining approvals in line with authority limits * Reviewing project detail reports and matching project costs to revenue * Assisting the Finance Manager with the month end close * Providing holiday cover to other Accounts assistants * Performing accounting and administration duties related to the processing of accounts * Dealing with internal and external finance queries Who we are looking for * You could have worked in an Accounts Assistant, Assistant Accountant, Finance Assistant, Finance support role or similar. * You will have an excellent attention to detail * You rsquo;ll have good literacy numeracy skills * Good competency in using MS Office (particularly Excel) * You will have the ability to communicate well and develop successful relationships with key stakeholders Benefits rewards: * Generous pension scheme.
