The Opportunity: bull; English Graduate Teaching Assistant bull; Mixed Secondary School based in Uxbridge, Hillingdon bull; GBP450 - GBP500 weekly ndash; term time only! bull; September start bull; Gain classroom experience first before training to become a teacher The Successful candidate must: bull; Must have a degree in English(2:2 or above) bull; Must have a passion for education and your specialist subject (English) bull; Must be able to commit for the full academic year bull; Be able to keep students engaged and motivated bull; Be enthusiastic and confident within the classroom bull; Have strong communication skills bull; Be passionate about making a difference in the lives of young people As an English teaching assistant, you will be working alongside with classroom teachers (KS3/KS4) and the head of English to help support students with their learning and help them reach their full potential along with improve their academic performance. You will support intervention/revision sessions, support students on a 1:1 and small group basis (inside outside the classroom) as well as create revision material and resources for students to use.
