Retrofit Designer job in Guildford Retrofit Design job in Guildford: This company has launched a new design division within its retrofit consultancy, aiming for ambitious growth over the next year. It offers a comprehensive range of services in the retrofit sector, including project management and compliance, while providing highly flexible working arrangements, including remote and adjustable hours. This role will be working within the social housing sector within the public sector working with PAS2035, PAS2030 PAS2038 to help improve energy efficiency of social housing and Commercial projects they are looking to build a team of up to 6 over the 6 months** Role Responsibilities Oversee the productions, sign off, and implement retrofit design packages Liaising with the in-house retrofit coordinators assessors and compliance teams Evaluation of modelling outputs and the impacts of building energy-efficient measures on funded and self-funded projects Working collaboratively with the team on Cold-bridging analysis and FrSI calculations to meet requirements Working daily in Revit to BIM level daily.Required Skills Experience Qualified Architect with ARB membership or Architectural Technologist with MCIAT or working toward Passivhaus Designer accreditation is highly desirable Previous experience working on PAS2030, and PAS2035 is essential Experience working on PAS2038 is highly desirable Previous experience working on retrofit projects in the social housing sector would also be highly desirable Demonstrable experience working with tier 1, 2 and 3 contractors You must be proficient in Revit to BIM level Understanding of energy efficiency measures within the differing funding streams.What you get back GBP45,000 - GBP55,000 DOE Remote working Flexible hours BUPA health plans 28 days holiday including bank holidays Pension scheme.
