Data Centre Shift Technician Dagenham, Essex GBP50,000 Our client is currently looking for an experienced Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join them on a critical site in Essex. This role is perfect for anybody living in East London or Essex looking to avoid the hassle of commuting to London, allowing the Electrical Engineer to gain valuable experience and additional training. This role will undergo PPM and Reactive maintenance on Electrical and Mechanical systems within a data centre following a continental shift pattern (Days and Nights) The successful candidate will be fully qualified in Electrical Installations, Prior experience in Commercial Maintenance and the ability to work well in a critical environment. Duties: PPMs Reactive maintenance Single and Three Phase Power, Motors, Generators (on/off load tests), UPS, LV/HV switching, Shutdowns, Emergency Lighting, Fire Alarm Test, AHUs, FCUs, VAVs, CRAC units, Sprinkler Systems, Pumps BMS Operation Quotations Health Safety Logbooks Risk assessments Permits to work Requirements: City Guilds / NVQ (or equivalent) qualification in Electrical Installations Career driven and motivated Polite and personable Prior experience within a data centre - desirable High Voltage switching experience - desirable Salary and Benefits: GBP50,000 per annum Continental shift pattern, days and nights Avoid the commute to Central London Chance to work in a critical environment 20 days holiday entitlement Company pension Loads of overtime Additional training Internal progression If you are interested in the role above, please apply with an up to date CV and contact information.
