Morgan McKinley is partnering with a highly dynamic consultancy firm to recruit a Head of Finance, looking after their UK operation. Tring, Bucks. GBP70,000 - GBP80,000 plus excellent benefits! Head of Finance - reporting to the CFO Morgan McKinley is proud to be working in partnership with a dynamic consultancy firm to recruit a Head of Finance. As the Head of Finance you will be a commercially focused individual, able to influence at Board level. You be hands on with the purpose of focussing on ensuring the financial health and long-term value creation of the company. Responsibilities: Business partner the senior leadership team with a specific steer towards growing EBITDA. Ensure a robust forecast is in place by monitoring and challenging the forecast as well as investigating variances through to conclusion. Provide reporting, analysis and insight to explain the underlying variances against budget and forecast. Identify and evaluate new business opportunities. Provide direction to the Senior Leadership Teams to improve performance, support cost control and simplification. Build effective relationships with all members of the senior management team and develop a deep knowledge and understanding of the business.Requirements: A fully qualified accountant ideally with sector experience across either professional services, telecoms or consultancy. Strong commercial finance background. A strong communicator who is comfortable challenging the status quo. Strong leadership and motivation of people. Able to interpret and communicate financial issues to non-finance stakeholders. Ability to roll sleeves up and get into the detail when required.
