Senior reinsurance technician

We are currently seeking experienced Senior Reinsurance professionals to join our Client #39;s expanding Division as part of a successful team of Reinsurance Technicians. We have a number of opportunities across Pro Rata, Facultative and/or Excess of Loss specialisms, all on a permanent basis. As a Senior Reinsurance Technician you will be responsible for the most complex portfolios, typically you #39;ll manage four client accounts; including reinsurance coverage assessment, processing of premiums and/or loss transactions and associated cash follow up, application and disbursement of funds due. Also as a Senior individual you will provide guidance and training to less experienced colleagues as well as performing some leadership and business support activities. As a Senior Reinsurance Technician your responsibilities will include: Manage your client portfolio, taking full responsibility of technical duties relating to client accounts, premiums and claims. Covering excess of loss and pro rata business or alternatively binder and facultative risks types. Assess and submit client and/or reinsurer presentation materials and communications Provide support and mentoring to less experienced colleagues Work with credit control to assist with collection of funds Manage all brokerage receivables, funding, retention, e-trading, post booking receipt, payment of funds and all management and transactional process steps Understand issues, resolve problems and queriesTo be a successful Senior Reinsurance Technician you will demonstrate: Experience of working within a Reinsurance technical role Successful management of workload with an ability to manage expectations of all clients and stakeholders Ability to engage and negotiate with clients, market contacts and colleagues in a professional mannerYou will be rewarded with: Excellent pension benefits including generous Family Leave and first class holiday entitlements Also support programmes including: health welfare, tuition assistance, employee assistance program and career mobility opportunities.You will be able to work on a hybrid basis between home and the office, with 2 of these days working from home
