SEN Teaching Assistant - Gorton, Manchester Educate GM are seeking an experienced Special Educational Needs Teaching Assistant to join one of our partner schools in Gorton, Manchester. You will have the opportunity to gain experience in a diverse and positive working environment whilst facilitating children to flourish in an inner-city Manchester School. They are looking for an enthusiastic and committed Teaching Assistant with great energy and to adapt teaching support to student rsquo;s needs for this exciting position for the full academic year. This is a three-form entry school where you will be supported by an experienced teacher. This full-time SEN Teaching Assistant role begins in September 2024, and you will be required to complete the full academic year, with the possibility of a permanent position becoming available the following year. This fantastic opportunity will pay between GBP85-GBP95 depending on experience. Essential Criteria: * Level 1-3 Teaching Assistant qualification * Experience in primary schools or SEN TA experience * TA experience in the United Kingdom or delivering a British curriculum is advantageous. * Inspirational and highly effective in the classroom * Great behaviour management * Sensitive understanding * The ability to understand pupil rsquo;s reactions * Keep a positive attitude during challenging times * Able to help pupils in need of extra support with their work * Able to help children with special educational needs and disabilities to reach their full potential. * Able to contribute to, and work as part of a team * Creative in their approach to children rsquo;s learning * Reliable and flexible to suit the expectations of the school Successful candidates: * All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role. * This advert is for a temporary position for the full academic year.
