Trainee fabricator

2020 is working with our global engineering client who are looking to add a Trainee Fabricator / Production Operative to their team in Plymouth on a 3 month initial contract with a view to this being extended. Roles Responsibilities bull; Assist the Fabrication Team to carry out their daily tasks bull; Work to achieve high quality in the assembly of component parts bull; Demonstrate a skillset using various hand tools bull; Ensure production target output and quality is maintained bull; Adherence to health and safety rules and regulations bull; Maintaining production area housekeeping bull; Minimise waste by using/disposing of raw materials and consumable items efficiently bull; Work productively and safely and in compliance bull; Maintain good levels of workmanship Skills Experience Required bull; Able to adeptly learn the context of a challenge and quickly integrate new skills bull; Able to apportion time effectively to complete tasks bull; Will be energised by challenges and drawn towards opportunities bull; Aspiring and keen to advance within the organisation bull; A strong sense of customer focus (internal/external) bull; A candid team player who collaborates with peers to solve problems bull; Committed to self-improvement and development through the role in order to achieve career goals Hours: 40 per week - 07:00 to 17:30 Monday to Thursday Pay Rate - GBP12.00/per hour plus Holiday Pay + Overtime
