Childrens home manager

Careermakers are currently looking for a Children #39;s home manager in the Maghull area. Responsibilities: * Manage and oversee the day-to-day operations of a residential children rsquo;s home. * Ensure the safety, welfare, and well-being of the children and young people residing in the home. * Ensure that the home is run in compliance with all relevant legislation, policies, and procedures. * Lead and manage a team of staff to provide a high-quality service to children and young people. * Develop and maintain positive relationships with children, young people, their families, and other stakeholders. * Ensure that the home meets or exceeds OFSTED rsquo;s requirements and maintain a good or outstanding rating. * Plan and manage the home rsquo;s budget and resources effectively. * Participate in on-call duties on a rota basis. * Maintain accurate records and reports Requirements: * Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management (Residential Childcare). * Minimum of 2 years rsquo; experience managing in the past 5 years * Experience working with children and young people with challenging behaviours/EBD. * Full UK driving licence. * Excellent knowledge of current legislation, including The Children rsquo;s Homes England Regulations 2015, Quality Standards 2015, the Children rsquo;s Act 1989, Children Act 2004, and other relevant legislation related to residential children rsquo;s homes. * Good knowledge of ldquo;ClearCare rdquo; or ldquo;Mentor rdquo; (Software for Children rsquo;s Home).
