Job Title: Production Operative Location: Lopen, South Petherton, TA13 5JS Moving to Sparkford Within 2-6 monthsSalary: GBP11.72 Per Hour, 40 Hours Per Week, Overtime Available Job type: Full Time, Permanent About Us: EmTech Hatchery Systems manufacture incubation and hatchery systems which we supply to customers all over the world. Please note that the location of the business will be moving to Sparkford within the next 2-6 months. About The Role: As a production operative you will be working both alone and as part of a team with efficiency and commitment to complete your work and strive to maintain the business performance targets. Using hand and air tools to produce varied products throughout the production areas, at the set efficiency whilst adhering to the desired quality. Responsibilities: Adherence to H S procedures and regulations. Operating and maintaining factory and equipment Assembling products using hand tools and equipment within production area. Inspecting and testing products to ensure that they meet specifications and requirements. Packaging and labelling products for delivery internally and externally. Collaborating with other team members to meet production goals and deadlines. Develop and implement strategies to optimise production processes and improve efficiency. Implement continuous improvement initiatives to streamline operations and reduce costs.Requirements: Previous knowledge, experience of factory production lines e.g. basic assembly and quality control, or factory operative job role is preferable. Knowledge of machinery, hand tools, equipment and materials used in production, a plus. Friendly and approachable with good attention to detail. Demonstrable skills with time and task management. Excellent problem-solving skills. Strong communication abilities.Additional Information: If you #39;re interested in becoming a factory operative, it #39;s important to note that this job may require a certain level of physical stamina as it may involve repetitive motions and standing for long periods of time. Also, it requires attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions and procedures. Additionally, it #39;s important to have good knowledge of the industry specific regulations and safety guidelines. You will undergo training, coaching and work with the Supervisory team to identify training needs as well as potential risks and continuous improvement in our operation.
