Warehouse Assistant Job Location: Poole, Dorset (nr fleetsbridge) Job Type: Temporary - Permanent Salary: GBP12.00 per hour / GBP438 per week / GBP22,776 per annum Hours: 36.5 hours per week ndash; Monday ndash; Thursday 8.30am ndash; 5pm Friday 8.30am ndash; 4.00pm An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Warehouse Assistant to work with a leading company who design and supply interior products to both the B2C B2B market. Working within their retail warehouse in Poole, you will be supporting the warehouse department with returns, unloading shop deliveries, restocking the warehouse, replenishing stock in the shop and providing occasional assistance in the shop. Duties will include; * Unloading deliveries * Sorting out returns and testing * Compacting sorted materials e.g. cardboard and metal * Receiving stock on to the system once received * Assisting the shop with display fittings * Stock control for the warehouse and restocking of the shop * Picking, packing and posting of small orders * Operating Electric Counterbalance forklift * Providing additional support as needed in the shop i.e. answering the phone, operating the till and providing support to customers The successful applicant will possess: * Previous warehouse experience * Counterbalance forklift licence * Ability to work independently and as part of a team * A can-do attitude and excellent customer service skills For more information about this brilliant opportunity please contact our Recruitment Team on (phone number removed) or send your CV Those who have the right skills and experience, our aim is that you will hear back from us within 24 hours but due to the high number of applications we are receiving at present, we are unable to respond to every application individually so If you do not hear from us within 3 days, please assume that your application at this stage has not been successful.
