Job description Simply CV application, 1 to 3 days Teams or face to face interview hellip; Salary: GBP30,000 to GBP35,000 Deputy Manager: focused on young people Pharmakia is currently seeking a qualified candidate for the position of Deputy Manager to oversee a specialized children #39;s services facility. The selected individual will bear responsibility for the well-being of young individuals utilizing the client #39;s services, working with 15 ndash;18-year-old children. The Deputy would have some time on shift and sometime based at the office for administration. You would line manage two team leaders and a team of 25 to 35 support workers. The candidate should already have, or be willing to work towards, Diploma level 3 to 5. The candidate should be experienced in supporting people with complex needs and experienced in line managing staff teams. Key Responsibilities middot; Uphold and promote the rights of young people with respect and dignity. middot; Report safeguarding issues per policies, following safeguarding principles. middot; Alert Service Manager to significant changes in service users #39; needs. middot; Maintain records in accordance with our client rsquo;s policies. middot; Conduct formal key work sessions with detailed reports for each. middot; Encourage young people #39;s involvement in service, quality assurance, and development. middot; Communicate effectively with internal colleagues and external bodies. Understanding of the full range of issues facing children, young people and/ or families including: * Mental health concerns * Physical health challenges * Emotional well-being * Anti-Social Behaviour (ASB) and crime issues * Family functioning * Domestic violence * Substance misuse * Housing challenges * Unemployment issues This role does not offer Visa Sponsorship or Visa Switch.
