Territory sales manager

Main Purpose of the Job To, in a professional and effective manner, sell and support the use of our client #39;s range of products in your designated territory to achieve the revenue and growth targets as set out by the Management Team. Strive to drive the strategic ambition of the business as an industry leader in the Biologics and wholesaling sector across both the equine and small animal sectors. Territory coverage: Across the South of England - potential territory split with the team but you will be responsible for your territory management with emphasis on consultative centric appointments. Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities middot; Sell products to achieve the revenue and growth targets set periodically for your sales territory middot; Maintain profitability at territory and practice level by ensuring practices have the best product mix to achieve improved margins middot; Maintain accurate records, via the CRM system provided, of all activities carried out by you in your sales territory and in support of the business middot; Provide as required CPD and other product training and support activities for the company with customers in your sales territory middot; Attend exhibitions and meetings as required within and outside your territory to support the company #39;s business goals middot; Utilise the mobile laboratory throughout the country as and when required middot; Actively report competitor activity and data and work cross functionally to support the marketing team middot; Represent the company in a professional manner, building the reputation and working to the standards set by the company middot; Manage your designated territory to achieve the required coverage and frequency of face to face contacts within veterinary practices in your territory by networking and following the practice segmentation and grading systems in place middot; Work within all regulated timescales for reporting of Complaints and adverse reactions on territory to Technical Services and Clinical Team and Commercial Director middot; Carry out market research, market monitoring and competitor monitoring on both an ad hoc and structured basis reporting back to Commercial Director or other colleagues as required middot; As and when required support the additional divisions of the company group associations to help further elevate the wider company brand. middot; Produce reports as required to members of the Management Team middot; At all times follow the VMD guidelines around the supply of our SIC range of products middot; Work with procurement to ensure an on-time in full service for the supply of all capital equipment and associated consumables Key Competencies We invite candidates to apply who can: - Evidence a track record in delivering good account management and sales - Nurture and develop relationships to win business rather than simply hitting KPIs. - Deliver value added approach to customer interactions being able to shift a customer rsquo;s behaviour to compel them to take action - Deliver commercial insight in a rational and emotionally compelling way - Customise the sales message to individual priorities and goals of the stakeholder group - Effectively communicate technical/clinical product knowledge to their customer base
