Mechanical and electrical manager

Our client is a large and very well established Tier 1 building contractor in the South Birmingham area. They carry out a diverse range of projects up to GBP100 million across the Midlands including schools, hospitals and large student accommodation. Due to ongoing growth they have approached us with the requirement to recruit an experienced M E Manager into the team. Working across the Birmingham region on multiple large projects, You will manage the M E aspects as well as associated teams, from pre construction stage through to handover. You will report to the head of Building Services on all matters. Candidates will come from a planning background, having worked with larger and well known contractors previously. You will be adept at using ASTA in particular and have experience of 4D programmes. You will also reside within commutable disctance of the Bromsgrove area. You will come from a proven M E background, gained either with a large main contractor or specialist M E sub contractor. You will be adept at managing projects and teams on larger schemes, having worked on projects from pre construction stage onwards.
