Key responsibilities: * Assessment: Evaluate mental health, understanding symptoms and risks for a comprehensive overview of the individual #39;s well-being. * Treatment: Implement personalized plans, combining counselling, psychotherapy, and medications to address and manage mental health issues. * Crisis Intervention: Respond to crises, de-escalate situations, assess risk, and ensure safety during acute mental health episodes. * Patient Education: Empower patients and families with mental health education, treatment options, and effective coping strategies. * Collaboration and Advocacy: Work with healthcare professionals, ensuring coordinated care, while advocating for mental health rights and destigmatization.
