Design Technology Teacher - Salford A dedicated and passionate Design Technology Teacher is required to work at a popular secondary school in Salford, to join them on a full-time basis, teaching key stage 3 4 September 2024, on an ongoing basis, likely to be for the full academic year on a full-time basis. This position is five days a week, full time, and is open to ECTs as well as experienced Design Technology teachers. You will be required to become fully involved within the department school, like a permanent member of staff, and attend departmental meetings when required, and be available for parents #39; evenings as well as planning and delivering captivating, high standard lessons that will stretch the pupils in their learning. In a department with well sequenced learning, with clear links to their learning. You will also be required to mark the work and provide feedback along the way. CONTRACT/POSITION DETAILS: Location - Salford Position - Design Technology Teacher (KS3 4) Type of work - Teaching Start date - September 2024 Likely Duration - ongoing Contract type - Temporary Full time Minimum rate of pay - from GBP153.85 per day Hours - 8:30am - 4pm EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS: Degree educated with a good classification Secondary QTS (PGCE, SCITT, B.Ed, QTS, etc) Previous experience working with young people (which we can reference) Experience of teaching in a Secondary School (which we can reference) Up to date Safeguarding training issued in the last year (essential, we can provide the training) Up to date Prevent awareness training issued in the last 3 years (essential, again, we can provide the training) Up to date behaviour management FGM training (essential, however, training can be provided).
