Science teacher

Science teacher - Bolton - September A dedicated and passionate Science Teacher is required to work at a popular secondary school in Bolton, to join them teaching key stage 3 4 from September, for the full academic year on a full-time basis. This position is open to ECTs as well as experienced science teachers. Please do specify if you have a specialism in Biology, Chemistry or Physics. You will be required to become fully involved within the department school, like a permanent member of staff, and attend departmental meetings when required, and be available for parents #39; evenings as well as planning and delivering captivating, high standard lessons that will stretch the pupils in their learning. CONTRACT/POSITION DETAILS: Location Bolton Position Science Teacher (KS3 4) Type of work Full time Start date September 2024 End date - July 2025 Likely Duration full academic year Contract type Temporary Minimum rate of pay from GBP153 per day. Hours 8:30am 4pm EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS: Degree educated with a good classification, preferably in science connected subject. Secondary QTS (PGCE, SCITT, B. Ed, QTS, etc) in science Previous experience working with young people (which we can reference) Experience of teaching in a Secondary School (which we can reference) Up to date Safeguarding training issued in the last year (essential, we can provide the training) Up to date Prevent awareness training issued in the last 3 years (essential, again, we can provide the training) Up to date behaviour management FGM training (essential, however, training can be provided).
