They are currently seeking a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join the team as an Ophthalmic Theatre Nurse. Ophthalmology Theatre Nurse Responsibilities: bull; Assisting ophthalmologists and optometrists in patient examinations and treatments. bull; Preparing examination rooms and ensuring they are clean and well stocked with necessary supplies. bull; Conducting Cataract Surgery, Glaucoma procedures, Ocular plastics as well as a mix of less complex cases. bull; Managing patient flow, ensuring timely and efficient service delivery. bull; Scheduling appointments and maintaining accurate patient records. bull; Providing administrative support, including handling phone calls, responding to inquiries, and managing patient billing and insurance claims. bull; Assisting with the maintenance and sterilization of ophthalmic instruments and equipment. bull; Collaborating with other clinic staff to ensure smooth operations and exceptional patient experiences. Ophthalmology Theatre Nurse Requirements: bull; Previous experience with Ophthalmic Surgeries Desired bull; Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to provide compassionate care and build rapport with patients. bull; Strong organizational skills and attention to detail to ensure accurate documentation and efficient clinic operations. bull; Flexible to work in not only Theatre but the laser Department, Admissions and Discharge, as well as General Nursing Duties bull; Proficient computer skills and the ability to learn new software systems. bull; A positive attitude and the ability to work effectively as part of a team. bull; Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
