Position: Senior Quantity Surveyor Location: Hybrid - 3 Days in Manchester office - 2 Days from home Compensation: GBP50,000 - GBP60,000 Industry: Steel The Company An industry leader in the steel industry! Job Summary: My client are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our dynamic team. Responsibilities/Duties: middot; Prepare accurate and detailed cost estimates for steel construction projects, including materials, labour, and other associated costs. middot; Conduct thorough quantity take-offs and measurements from project drawings and specifications. middot; Analyse project requirements, specifications, and contract documents to identify potential risks, opportunities, and value engineering solutions. middot; Collaborate closely with project managers, engineers, subcontractors, and vendors to develop comprehensive cost plans and budgets. middot; Monitor project costs throughout the construction phase, identifying variances and implementing cost control measures to ensure projects remain within budget. Requirements: middot; Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Quantity Surveyor in the steel construction industry.
