Product support engineer

This manufacturer of automated laser gauging and measurement systems wishes to appoint a support engineer to provide technical support, ppm and break-fix and commissioning to their manufacturing client base. Full product training is offered. N.B.The role involves approximately 60% short duration travel (5/6 days) to mostly Western Europe customers. Significant time off in lieu of travel is offered to allow you to recharge your batteries (in addition to a generous travel allowance and company credit card). Travel is scheduled 6-8 weeks in advance (no emergency call out). When in the Uk hybrid working is allowed however access to their Worcestershire site is required. The ideal candidate will be qualified in an electrical or electro-mechanical discipline and have experience of machinery operating in a high volume manufacturing environment (some understanding of controls (ideally). The typical development pathway within the role is to train you to become a SPECIALIST in at least one of their major products.
