Field service engineer

Field Service Engineer Are you an experienced engineer with good experience of working on Customer Sites? We are recruiting for a Field service Engineer to be based out of Birmingham with travel to customer sites around the area. You will provide efficient and cost effective on-site repair, installation and commissioning services at customer sites to ensure work is led and conducted to the required standards, time, cost and customer satisfaction. What you rsquo;ll be doing; * Resolving and reporting back to workshop any technical queries and other problems that arise * You #39;ll be the first point of contact to allocate customers regarding issues relating to on-site scopes of work * Liaising with customers and representatives and develop strong relationships with key contacts. * Be proactively involved in site Environment, Safety and Health activities working with customer and personnel to ensure ESH working practices are maintained * Provide continuous improvement in the removal, repair, installation and commissioning activities. * Deliver hands on training to customers and other personnel as required * They are looking for someone with the following; * Experience of assembly, operation and testing of pumps and associated rotating turbo machinery * You will have experience of installation and commissioning activities * A solid technical background in Electrical Engineering * High attention to detail when fitting * Strong communication and customer relationship skills * Ability to work independently They offer salary of GBP36,400 - GBP40,000 plus company van and fuel as well as company annual bonus, 33 days holiday (including bank holidays), Contributory pension
