IT Technician South Wales Competitive Salary + package Purpose of Job: The post holder will work closely with the central IT team to deliver projects and provide solutions to technical problems and requirements. The jobholder will be responsible for ensuring the best delivery of IT resources to support the daily operations and providing support and guidance to end users. Reporting to: Admin Finance Manager Responsibilities: * Install and configure computer hardware operating systems and applications. * Monitor and maintain computer systems and networks. * Talk to staff or clients through a series of actions, either face-to-face or over the phone, to help * set up systems or resolve issues. * Troubleshoot system and network problems, diagnosing and solving hardware or software * faults. * Replace parts as required. * Provide support, including procedural documentation and relevant reports. * Support the roll-out of new applications. * Set up new users #39; accounts and profiles and deal with password issues. * Respond within agreed time limits to call-outs. * Prioritise and manage many open cases at one time. * Raise PO rsquo;s for new equipment and hardware etc. * Investigate improvements and better ways of working for the business. * Any other reasonable task the post holder is capable of performing The Candidate: * Minimum of 3+ years of experience working in an IT support role. * Strong attention to detail with excellent written and verbal communication skills. * Excellent working knowledge of TCP/IP, WAN Technologies, VLAN rsquo;s, DHCP, Routing and Firewalls. * Good understanding of MS technology stack: Office 365, Windows 10+, Windows Server 2012+, Active Directory. * Proactive and able to use own initiative. * Ability work independently as well as part of a team * Dependable, with a positive attitude and flexible to the needs of the business with ability to multi-task and prioritise workloads Qualifications * Ideally educated to degree level or qualified to HND or equivalent. * A full driving licence If you are interested and want further details, please don rsquo;t hesitate to get in touch
