Finance manager

Title: Finance Manager Salary: GBP45,000 - GBP55,000 + discretionary bonus wider benefits Location: Liverpool Street (100% office based) Our client, a multinational commodities trading business head-quartered in central London with operations across Europe and North America, are currently seeking a Finance Manager to join their finance team. Job Responsibilities: * Coordinate and direct the preparation of the budget and financial forecasts and report variances * Coordinate the preparation of regulatory reporting * Support month-end and year-end close process * Ensure quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting * Support the daily operations of the accounting department * Monitoring and analysing accounting data and producing financial reports or statements * Manage invoices daily from the operation post fixture department * Process staff expense claims and analyse credit card accounts and journal payments * Report to the CFO with timely and accurate financial information Requirements: * Must have an accounting qualification or is a finalist - ACA/ACCA/CIMA * Thorough knowledge of accounting principles and procedures * Experience and working with financial statements * Experience with general ledger functions and the month-end/year-end close process * Energy and drive to get the job done * Ability to manipulate large amounts of data * High attention to detail and accuracy * Advanced Excel skills
