Production planning manager

Our client, a leading manufacturer of sustainable engineering systems is seeking a highly skilled Production Planning Manager to join their team. Job Responsibilities: Develop and implement effective production planning strategies to optimise resource utilisation and meet customer demands. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to forecast and plan production requirements. Monitor and maintain inventory levels to ensure efficient production flow. Analyse production data and identify areas for improvement. Manage production schedules and coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations. Provide leadership and guidance to the production planning team. Job Requirements: Significant experience in production planning or a similar role within the engineering sector. Strong analytic and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and deadline-driven environment. Proficient in using planning software and MS Office applications. Knowledge of inventory management principles.
