Job Title: GB K Rend Applications Specialist Reporting To: National Sales Manager Salary Band: Starting salary commensurate with experience and qualifications Location: Field Based, with regular travel throughout GB and attendance at training bases at St Helens (GB) and Larne (NI) Job Purpose: As part of our business growth, we are investing in a new role to support our customers and our internal teams develop their skills in product knowledge and product application. You will be responsible for providing expert technical support in the field and via classroom, to a range of customers such as Plasterers, Renderers, EWI Installers, Merchant and Distribution staff as well as a range of specifiers including Architects. You will have a drive to improve the skills gap in the construction and a passion for Customer Experience and for our products to be installed as specified. Key Responsibilities: * Responsible for your own Health and Safety and that of your colleagues * Provide high quality technical support to both internal external customers, including maintaining and developing a data base for ongoing product support and the production of site technical reports. * Provide technical support for spray machine applied render products including site support, training where required and working closely with all machine manufacturers. * Assist in the product development projects including product testing to meet project deadlines. * Support the introduction of new products to market, organising site trials with customer feedback. Liaise with key stakeholders to ensure all relevant technical information is in place for product launch. * Work closely with new K Rend applicators and carry out practical demos on site. * Provide regular training sessions at K Academy, demonstrating the features and benefits of new existing products to internal and external customers, both in house and on site. * Using Company systems and procedures, you will be required to maintain accurate records, including reports and be able to present these as required. * Build strong relationships and work in partnership with the R D and Commercial Departments on product enhancement, customer training, new product development, general technical and specification requests. * Continuously review outstanding customer issues, manage complex complaints and work in partnership with sales and QA departments to ensure these are rectified and closed in a timely manner. * Ensure compliance with company policies and the Quality and Health Safety management system. * Make up Bespoke sample boards and panels to help support our sales team and merchant partners. * Act as a company ambassador for our Company Values Essential Criteria * A minimum of GCSE or equivalent at grade C or above in English and Maths * Awareness of the construction / relevant industry * Minimum of 2 years rsquo; recent experience in a similar role * Experience of all forms of render application ndash; Hand Applied / Machine Applied * Experience of creating or maintaining engaging training content * Experience of delivering training to large groups * Strong interpersonal and communication skills * Excellent organisation and planning skills * Excellent attention to detail and prioritising ability * Can make decisions and solve problems * Evidence of business awareness/ commercial acumen * Computer literate with of all Microsoft Office packages * Flexibility in terms of working hours * Ability to travel throughout UK Ireland * Normal colour vision Apply via the link provided if you are interested in this role
