PROPOSALS MANAGER - CONSTRUCTION The Details: ROLE: Proposals Manager LOCATION: Hybrid/St Albans - Hertfordshire SALARY: GBP45,000 - GBP65,000 + Package BUSINESS TYPE: Main Contractor PROJECTS: Healthcare, Education, Residential REFERENCE: AP021 About Our Client: They are a growing, Hertfordshire based Main Contractor who typically work within London and the Home Counties. The business is built off trust and delivering what they have promised. As a company, they have a vast amount of returning clients and then pick up new ones through recommendations. As a company they understand the value of staff and continue to invest and progress those within the business. The Role: The company are looking to bring Bid Writing in house so require either an experienced Bid Writer or a Proposals Manager. If you are a Bid Writer, the plan will be to progress you as soon as possible so you can cover all responsibilities, so a great opportunity to exploit a skills gap or take the step you deserve but are held back from. This is a hybrid role, with two days a week (normally Tuesday and Thursday) to be in the office, just south of St Albans City Centre. You will be working under an experienced Pre-Construction Director who will make sure you reach your potential and enjoy your work. The company are open to people being creative with bids so feel free to express yourself! The Applicant: The ideal candidate must have: * 5+ years of experience writing bids from construction companies. * A creative mindset to help your work and the company stand out. It is desirable to have: * Worked for a similar type of Main Contractor. * A desire to progress and always do your best * Further related education.
