This is an exciting opportunity for an Oracle E-Business Database Engineer to join DWP. This position is situated within the Data Platforms Team which ensures DWP services are designed, delivered into production and maintained, using agile methodology. You will be delivering valuable pieces of work to advance Data Platforms product offerings in line with our Vision and Business Plan. Delivering successful outcomes in this role, the main responsibilities include: You will work with a team of Database Specialists and Engineers and provide support for production and test Oracle E-Business Suite R12.2 systems. You will join an Agile Delivery environment and will support and work closely with the development teams. You will undertake Oracle E-Business R12.2 application (ADOP) and technology stack (WebLogic, FMW) patching, and database patching/upgrades. You will clone Oracle E-Business Suite R12.2 environments, administer database backups and perform disaster recovery tests. What skills, knowledge and experience will you need? Must have skills in Oracle Database technologies (e.g. Installs, Upgrades, Patching, Backup and Recovery) Experience of RAC, ASM, CRS, RMAN, Data Guard Oracle E-Business Suite Database Administrator Public Cloud Technologies (particularly OCI and AWS). Please note - this role requires being part of an on-call rota which will commence after training is complete. Details. Wages. Perks.
