This is the perfect role for somebody with a background in Finance / Payments. Every business is different. The global travel industry is vast and varying. The Strategic Account Manager is responsible for supporting the Strategic Account Director in managing the most important strategic customer accounts in the Travel business at WEX. The Strategic Account Manager will be an expert in our process, systems and platforms and collaborate with other internal teams to deliver on client expectations. In collaboration with the Strategic Account Director, the Strategic Account Manager must build and maintain a strong relationship with the client. The successful role holder will support the operational needs of all key client matters and work within the client to ensure deadlines are met. What rsquo;s on offer? * Highly competitive salary between GBP60,000-GBP65,000 (dependant on experience) * Annual company bonus * 40 hour week ndash; Monday to Friday, no evenings or weekends * Hybrid working (2-3 days per week in London Bridge office) * Industry leading pension scheme * Private Medical * 25 days plus bank holidays ndash; with the opportunity to purchase additional holidays * Life assurance * Income Protection * Gym Flex membership * Discounts perks platform * Employee wellbeing Key Responsibilities of the Strategic Account Manager: * Develop a solid, trusting and mutually beneficial relationship between the client and WEX. * Daily interactions with customers * Develop a complete understanding of the customer rsquo;s needs across their organisation * Respond in a timely manner to all of the client rsquo;s operational needs to provide outstanding customers service * Manage communications between the client and internal teams * Regular meetings face to face with customers * Analyse client data to improve service to the client * Meeting all agreed upon client needs and deliverables according to proposed timelines. * Looking for account growth opportunities Experience You rsquo;ll Bring: * Previous experience in relationship management or account management, preferably within the payments or financial services industry * Willingness to travel extensively across the EMEA region * Understanding or willingness to understand API * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage and influence within client organisations * Able to analyse data and sales statistics and translate results into better solutions and customer service * Goal-oriented, organised team player * Strong problem solving capabilities * Deep knowledge of the payments industry, with a focus on corporate payments and solutions, preferably in the travel industry What rsquo;s Next?
