Class 1 driver

Class 1 (C + E) HGV Driver - Days and Nights We are working with a client who is seeking for more HGV Class 1 (Cat C + E) drivers to add to their team. The workload inclusive of general haulage on curtainsider trucks. Client has a large fleet of Trucks and need consistent drivers both AM and PM. Tramping may be available depending on the run. Main responsibilities: Being accountable for the safe and timely delivery of goods on the vehicle Being responsible for securing the goods in the vehicle and unloading at each drop Perform daily checks on the vehicle and trailer and keep the vehicle to a high standard of cleanliness Maintain accurate records of deliveries and vehicle maintenance Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members Adhere to all traffic laws and regulationsExperience: - Class 1 (Cat C + E) driving experience (1 year minimum for insurance purposes) - Valid CPC - Clean driving record Location: Wrexham Salary: GBP15 - GBP20 PH, 8 hours minimum paid per shift Holiday pay accrued separately. Working Pattern: Monday to Friday. Start times vary depending on run and client can be flexible due to vast amount of work.
