KS3/4 Resistant Materials job - Bury - September Prospero Teaching are supporting a secondary school in Bury to recruit for a qualified D T specialist teacher to join them in September 2024. It is essential that applicants are qualified to teach resistant materials to key stage 3 4 students. This school has long been the flagship school of the LA and even after a disappointing OfSTED inspection last time around, there is a firm action plan in place and a recent informal monitoring visit by their trust suggested Good with Outstanding . The Head is extremely well thought of by his peers and receives accolades from the wider trust and SLT across the area. CONTRACT/POSITION DETAILS Location Bury Position Design Technology Teacher Start date September 2024 End date July 2025 Full time Minimum rate of pay GBP153 per day Hours 8:30AM 4PM EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS QTS, QTLS, PGCE, or equivalent Previous experience teaching in a UK school (resistant materials) Up to date Safeguarding training issued in the last year (essential, however training can be provided) Up to date prevent awareness training FGM issued in the last 3 years (essential, however, training can be provided) TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST: Hold Right to Work in the UK Hold an enhanced DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to obtain a new one Provide a minimum of two professional references If you would like to be considered for this role, please apply with a copy of your up to date CV today.
